John Bonner
President
Pastor John Bonner is the founder and director of Calvary Chapel Bible College Peru, and the senior pastor of Hosanna Calvary Chapel in Los Baños del Inca, Peru. He is also a published author.
John has been a missionary-pastor for over 40 years, serving in Mexico, the U.S. and, most recently, for 25 years in South America. He is the founder of two churches in Peru, and through the Bible college ministry, has been involved with an additional eleven church plants.
He has traveled extensively sharing in ministry in more than 30 countries throughout the Americas as well as Europe; he has visited the Middle East over thirty times presenting Bible Study Tours to Israel, Jordan and Egypt.
John is a 1996 graduate of Calvary Chapel Bible College, Twin Peaks, California. He holds an Associates degree in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Missions.
John has served on the Board of Directors of “Friends of Calvary Chapel Bible College Peru” since its inception in 2003. He is a regular teacher at the Bible college, and continues as the college’s international director of development.

Bryan Newberry
Treasurer
Pastor Bryan Newberry founded Calvary Chapel of San Diego in 1985 and served as the church’s senior pastor for 33 years. Bryan is the current senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Los Alamitos, California where he and his wife Cheryl have served since 2020.
He began Words of Encouraging Ministry, and has a weekly program on KWVE Radio. He speaks frequently at colleges, retreats and conferences, and has archived messages on the entire Bible.
Bryan has a heart for missions and has ongoing involvement in Europe and South America. His particular calling is to encourage missionaries serving on the field.
Bryan holds a Bachelors degree in Philosophy, Religion and Biblical Studies, and has a minor in Youth Ministries. He worked with Poimen Ministries for several years helping churches in crisis, coaching, and in pastoral transitions.
He has served on the Board of Directors of “Friends of Calvary Chapel Bible College Peru” since its inception in 2003. He has taught at the Bible college for many years, and has held many pastors retreats in Peru.

Bill Walden
Secretary
Pastor Bill Walden is the founding, and senior pastor, of Cornerstone Fellowship in Napa, California.
A talented musician, Bill Walden was a part of the Jesus Revolution and played nationally and internationally in the Christian rock band Undercover. Bill started his pastoral ministry while serving under Pastor Chuck Smith from 1989-1991. He was the College and Career pastor at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa before founding Cornerstone Ministries in the Napa Valley of Northern California. The Lord continues to use Bill as a Music-Missionary.
Bill is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton where he holds a Bachelor degree in Musical Arts/Music. He and his wife Debbie have been married for 42 years.
He is a regular teacher at Calvary Chapel Bible College Peru since 2018, and has taught at several Bible colleges throughout Mexico and South America.
With his background, vast experience and love for this ministry, we are blessed to have Pastor Bill serving on the Board of Directors of Friends of Calvary Chapel Bible College Peru.
